Welcome to the official website of the Democratic Veterans Caucus of Florida! The mission of our Caucus is to expand the participation of Florida Veterans in the Florida Democratic Party. Our focus is threefold: Promote the election of Democratic veterans at all levels - local, state, and national. Encourage non-veteran, Democratic candidates who support veterans' issues. Increase involvement of all Democratic veterans in the electoral process as candidates, policy experts and advisors, and campaign volunteers. Through these grassroots efforts, the DVCF will elevate veterans and veterans’ issues within the Democratic Party in Florida and the nation. We firmly believe veterans of all services and eras have the necessary leadership, discipline, and determination to provide the Democratic Party with a loyal, knowledgeable, and proven voice of advocacy on major issues facing our state and our nation. The DVCF is currently a statewide organization. We are constantly looking, though, for those caucus members who can take our message and organization to each county in the state. Because our membership is spread across the length and width of Florida, the majority of our meetings will be by conference call and held quarterly. Other activities will occasionally be planned to allow more direct interaction in person. All members are expected to participate as actively as possible. One does not need to be a veteran to belong to the Democratic Veterans' Caucus of Florida, but one must be a Democrat. To become a member of the Veterans' Caucus, complete the form available on this web site. You will also be required to sign the Democratic Loyalty Oath prior to being inducted as a new member of the Veterans' Caucus. Mail both documents, plus a $30 check for the first year's dues, to the address given on the two forms.
